ProfessionI am an Acadian who has been teaching since 1987. I began as a grade 10-12 Core French teacher, spent a couple of years in Japan teaching English Conversation to mostly adults, then came back for 4 years as a grade 10-12 French Immersion teacher before going to Hong Kong to teach 3 years in the public school system. After that, I spent 2 years in 2 different schools teaching Junior High Core French before settling into my current assignment: Grade 6 Early French Immersion in Hammonds Plains, Nova Scotia.

My family |
I grew up with loving, hard-working parents, very close to my brothers & sisters. Although our busy lives keep us apart too often, we try to make the best of our times together. I enjoy spending time with my current, immediate family, watching my 4 children grow and develop into wonderful civil beings. I am fortunate that my wife, from Japan, is such a wonderful mother for them!

Interests |
For the longest time I have been a sports fanatic, having played a lot of baseball, pond hockey, touch football and volleyball. Injuries got me into coaching, and the love of helping the young reach their potential got me into teaching. Music has been a huge part of my life (especially guitar & singing) and the fire seems to be ignited in my children as well.
